To Our Patients and Community Partners,

Clinica Sierra Vista has proudly served the Central Valley for decades, providing high-quality, compassionate health care to individuals and families throughout our communities. Our mission and our commitment to those we serve remain at the center of everything we do.

We are aware of recent news coverage and litigation involving Clinica Sierra Vista and understand that the reported allegations may raise questions or concerns among our patients, community partners, employees, and supporters.

We want to be clear: Clinica Sierra Vista vigorously disputes the allegations contained in the lawsuit and media reports, and those allegations should not be mistaken for established facts. The allegations are not new; they were made nearly a year ago and subject to an independent review and investigation by outside legal investigators. None of the claims were substantiated and there were no findings of misconduct. At this point, like so many other employers who have been forced to defend themselves from legal actions from disgruntled employees, Clinica Sierra Vista is in the early stages of a lawsuit and will be aggressively defending the claims being asserted, confident that the truth will come out and those against whom the allegations are being made will be fully vindicated.

Clinica Sierra Vista takes its responsibilities to our patients, employees, community, and stakeholders seriously. We are cooperating with the appropriate processes and, through our legal counsel, are responding to the matter in the appropriate forums. Because this matter is ongoing, there are limits to what we can appropriately discuss publicly at this time.

What we can say is that our commitment to our patients and communities has not changed.

Every day, our dedicated physicians, clinicians, staff, and leaders continue to provide care to the people and families who rely on Clinica Sierra Vista. We remain focused on delivering accessible, high-quality, compassionate care and on being a trusted healthcare partner in the communities we serve without compromising our values or moral and ethical obligations to our patients and the community.

We are proud of the work our organization and our employees have accomplished over the years, and have and remain committed to operating with integrity, accountability, professionalism, and respect.

We ask our community to allow the appropriate legal processes to run their course and to recognize that allegations are unproven claims and not established facts.

We will continue to communicate as appropriately and as we are able to do so while respecting the legal process and our confidentiality obligations.

Thank you for your continued trust in Clinica Sierra Vista and for allowing us to continue serving the communities that mean so much to us.

With appreciation,

Olga Meave, M.D., Chief Executive Officer
and the Clinica Sierra Vista Board of Directors

Do I Qualify for WIC?

WIC is a program that helps families with food and nutrition. Call us at (661) 862-5422 or send a message, and we’ll help you see if you qualify.

Here are some ways you might qualify:

  • You are pregnant
  • You are breastfeeding a baby who is less than one year old
  • You had a baby in the last six months
  • You have a child who is under the age of five
  • You experienced a loss of pregnancy or had a termination

You also need to think about your family’s income. Here are the monthly income limits for family sizes:

  • 1 Person: $2,413
  • 2 Persons: $3,261
  • 3 Persons: $4,109
  • 4 Persons: $4,957
  • 5 Persons: $5,805
  • More than 5 Persons: Add $848 for each additional member

This income limit is based on 185% of the Federal Poverty Level, and these amounts will be effective from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

Also, if you’re pregnant, the baby counts as part of your family size when figuring out if you qualify.
