BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (August 27, 2026)
Clinica Sierra Vista was proud to participate in the 29th Annual Hispanic Business Conference & Expo, hosted by the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bakersfield.
As part of the conference’s business workshop series, Dr. Olga Meave, Chief Executive Officer of Clinica Sierra Vista, joined fellow community and business leaders for a panel discussion titled Success Without Sacrifice. The session focused on fostering healthier workplaces and supporting employee well-being while driving organizational success.

During the discussion, panelists explored topics such as work-life balance, employee wellness programs, mental health support, workplace flexibility, and strategies for creating environments where employees feel valued and supported. The conversation also highlighted the important role employers play in helping their teams prioritize both personal well-being and professional growth.

“Success should never come at the expense of our health, well-being, or relationships,” said Dr. Meave. “When organizations invest in the wellness of their employees, they build stronger teams, healthier communities, and a more sustainable future.”
Clinica Sierra Vista was honored to support a conference that brought together business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders from across Kern County for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration. As a presenting sponsor of the event, Clinica Sierra Vista was also recognized by the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with a special recognition award acknowledging the organization’s support and commitment to the conference.
In addition to participating in the panel discussion, Clinica Sierra Vista’s Health Insurance Assistance Program (HIAP) team took part in the business expo, connecting attendees with information about health coverage options and available enrollment assistance. The program helps individuals and families navigate the health insurance enrollment process, providing free support to those seeking coverage through Medi-Cal, Covered California, and other available programs.

Clinica Sierra Vista remains committed to advancing whole-person health and fostering a culture of well-being, recognizing that healthy, supported employees are essential to building stronger organizations and communities.
The annual conference featured educational workshops, networking opportunities, exhibitors, and community resources designed to support local businesses and promote economic growth throughout the region.
Health Care Is a Right for All, Not a Privilege for Some
The Health Insurance Assistance Program provides individuals and families with education about and assistance with the application process, case management to ensure successful initial enrollment, and annual renewal assistance.
The program’s goal is to increase the number of insured Californians so that they have access to quality health care and nutritious foods.
