Clinica Sierra Vista welcomed representatives from Hawaii Island Community Health Center on August 20, 2026, for a collaborative visit focused on sharing best practices, exploring innovative healthcare solutions, and strengthening the work of community health centers.
The visit brought together leaders and team members from both organizations to share insights on topics including Clinica Sierra Vista’s growth and expansion, fostering a strong organizational culture across multiple counties, and expanding access to care while enhancing the patient experience.
Participants also discussed key initiatives such as the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), infusion services, Medicaid redetermination, accountable care organizations (ACOs), Rural Health Transformation Funding, practice management models, and strategies to improve patient access and care coordination.

During the visit, representatives toured Clinica Sierra Vista’s new administration building, Comprehensive Care Center, and Brimhall Community Health Center, gaining firsthand insight into the organization’s integrated healthcare model and patient-centered approach to care. The tour highlighted the broad range of services available to patients, including primary care, dental, women’s health, pediatrics, optometry, and specialty programs.
