Teen Success, Inc. Program for Young Mothers
The Teen Success, Inc. Program is an 18-month program for pregnant or parenting young women, ages 14-19 years old, who have not yet graduated high school or received their GED.
The program includes:
* Educational navigation and support to help young moms graduate high school
* Parenting education to develop skills needed to nurture their child's growth and school readiness
* Coaching with mentor to support goal-setting, address challenges young moms may face, and connect to resources
* A weekly Peer Learning Group where young moms come together and focus on parenting education, health and wellness, and self-empowerment.

Teen Success, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help underserved teen mothers and their children become educated, self-sufficient, valued members of society. Teen Success, Inc. provides programming to help teen mothers graduate high school, develop strong parenting skills to nurture their child's positive development, and build the life skills necessary to achieve their full potential in school, as parents, and in life.

Through weekly support groups, teen moms receive guidance and develop trusting, supporting relationships with their peers, which inspire and empower them to reach their potential. Child care and a healthy snack are provided. Participants receive a $10 gift card each week and can earn monetary bonuses with their attendance.
Clinica Sierra Vista facilitates two groups in Bakersfield and one in Lamont.
