Sebastian House /HIV AIDS Homeless Project

In This Section

Clinica Sierra Vista and the Kern Lifeline Project were awarded funding by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Supportive Housing Program to provide permanent housing opportunities for homeless individuals and families living with HIV and AIDS.

The project consists of a total of six apartments: three one-bedroom apartments and three two-bedroom apartment units and can house up to 12 individuals and their families. Clients may be required to pay a portion of the rent as well as utilities, depending on income and family size, and they are also required to participate in an intensive case-management program to assist in working towards self-sufficiency and independent living.

For further questions about the project, please contact the Kern Lifeline Project at (661) 324-3262.
