Kern County OES has lifted the KRN-421 shelter-in-place notice following the hydrochloric acid leak at Chemex Chemicals LLC. The leak has been contained, and no further shelter-in-place action is required.
The East Bakersfield Community Health Center is now open. Patient visits will resume as scheduled.

This income limit is based on 185% of the Federal Poverty Level, and these amounts will be effective from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
