"Our diverse communities have been hit especially hard by COVID-19, the statistics tell the story," said Tim Calahan, Director of Communications at Clinica Sierra Vista. "African-American deaths from COVID-19 are nearly two times greater than would be expected based on their share of the population," Calahan said.
