About Jason

Jason Reyes, originally from Long Island, NY, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a robust background in family medicine and urgent care, having graduated in 2017. His commitment to serving the Central Valley community, particularly its underserved populations, is driven by his diverse experience and personal background.

Raised by parents from El Salvador—a construction worker and a homemaker—Jason is fluent in Spanish, which allows him to effectively communicate with a broad patient base. His journey into the medical field began as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the dementia unit of a nursing home, where he discovered his passion for healthcare.

Jason is especially focused on preventive care and advocating for LGBTQAI+ services. As someone who has personally experienced major depression, he is deeply involved in efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Jason has a keen interest in exploring different cultures and languages. He enjoys culinary adventures, traveling, and delving into history. Additionally, he maintains a healthy lifestyle through fitness and cherishes his fondness for cats.

Jason is enthusiastic about bringing his expertise to Clinica Sierra Vista (CSV) and looks forward to contributing to the organization's mission.
