Kern Lifeline Project

Kern Lifeline Project is a program of Clinica Sierra Vista and is part of the 34th Street Community Health Center, an HIV/AIDS specialty care center. It’s the first local center to offer comprehensive HIV/AIDS services to patients. This coordination of care allows case managers and mental health workers to participate in the provision of HIV medical care.

Parents as Teachers Program

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a program that helps support families who have been referred from Child Protective Services (CPS). PAT is a home visiting parenting and child development program designed to run from one to two years for families with children from infancy through kindergarten age. The program is designed to help families overcome struggles, understand child development, strengthen bonds, and overall, thrive. The program is provided throughout communities in Eastern Kern County.
