About Santiago
Francisco recently relocated to Bakersfield after completing his internship at the Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol & Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA), where he provided support to individuals facing substance use and mental health disorders.
His passion for mental health was initially sparked during his time as an undergraduate research assistant at the Koegel Autism Center at UC Santa Barbara. Francisco is dedicated to continuing his work with adults affected by substance use and mental health challenges in Kern County, seeking to advance his clinical expertise and career at Clinica Sierra Vista. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending quality time with his partner and daughter and pursues a passion for writing.
