About Amy
Amy Arreaza, FNP-BC, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in community-focused care and a passion for serving diverse populations. Originally from the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains in Utah, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University in 2002.
Early in her career, Mrs. Arreaza served a humanitarian mission in Guatemala, where she became fluent in Spanish and developed a deep appreciation for Latino culture. Upon returning to the U.S., she pursued advanced studies at the University of Utah, earning her Master of Science in Nursing and becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008.
She began her clinical career in urgent care and wound care settings in Utah before relocating to Bakersfield, California, in 2014. Since then, she has been providing comprehensive family medicine services at Clinica Sierra Vista. In 2023, she completed additional training in obesity medicine and now has a special interest in caring for patients living with obesity.
Mrs. Arreaza is married and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and playing pickleball.
