Alejandro Gonzalez Perez, M.D.

Dr. Alejandro Gonzalez Perez is a dedicated and compassionate family physician with over two decades of experience in patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree in 1999 in Cuba, where he began a lifelong commitment to advancing community health and well-being.

After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Gonzalez Perez completed his Family Medicine residency at the Rio Bravo Family Medicine Residency Program with Clinica Sierra Vista (CSV) in Bakersfield, California. He currently serves as both an Attending Physician and Faculty Member at Clinica Sierra Vista, delivering high-quality medical care while mentoring the next generation of family medicine physicians.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Gonzalez Perez is deeply committed to serving Bakersfield’s underserved populations, fostering trust and improving health outcomes through culturally responsive and accessible care.

Outside of his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Gonzalez Perez values quality time with family and friends. He is also a passionate home cook who finds joy in bringing people together through shared meals.
