Yohanna A. Mehretab Roman, MD

Dr. Mehretab is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing primary pediatrics in Delano since 2006. She was born in the Philippines. After finishing her medical degree from the University of the Philippines, Manila, she then proceeded to do her residency training at Elmhurst Hospital in New York. Dr.Mehretab likes working with kids.

She likes that, despite having a demanding field, as a pediatrician she can foster child growth and monitor child development. She can also see patients through the different developmental stages, provide preventive care to them and help them navigate through their illnesses. Dr.Mehretab knows it can be an emotionally challenging field but also deeply rewarding as you try to build meaningful relationships with both parents and kids.

On the lighter side, Dr. Mehretab loves music, especially singing. She also loves travelling to different places and spending time with family and friends. She is also very much involved with her church activities. As she starts a new chapter in her professional career, Dr. Mehretab is looking forward to having a fulfilling work experience with Clinica Sierra Vista!
