Healthy Doesn’t Have to Be Hard
WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children. It’s a nutrition program that helps pregnant people, new parents, and families with children under age 5 stay healthy and strong.
With WIC, you get:
- Healthy foods every month—like fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, bread, cereal, peanut butter, and more—loaded onto your California WIC Card.
- Nutrition advice and everyday tips from caring experts who understand your family’s needs.
- Breastfeeding help and supplies from certified professionals.
- A welcoming space to ask questions about pregnancy, feeding, and child nutrition—without judgment.
WIC is more than a shopping card—it’s a full support system for growing families.
Why It Matters
Healthy food builds a strong foundation for your family’s future. But we know it’s not always easy to make that happen on your own.
WIC helps take away the stress by giving you:
- Guidance you can use, not confusing advice.
- Support that fits your life, whether you’re working, pregnant, or caring for young kids.
- Confidence to make choices that help your family thrive.
When healthy feels doable—not overwhelming—everything changes.
You May Already Qualify
The best part? You might already be eligible for WIC and not even know it.
You may qualify if you:
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or just had a baby
- Have a child under age 5
- Live in California
- Have a low-to-medium income or receive Medi-Cal, CalFresh, or CalWORKs
WIC is open to working families, single parents, foster families, and grandparents caring for young children. Everyone is welcome.
